well.com.e

“Well.com.e“ is developing a healthcare platform with the core objective of motivating and supporting health-seeking behavior in the chronically ill. It is investigating the basic functions and operation of support services of the second health market, taking as an example a target group of persons with cardiovascular illnesses.

In collaboration with healthcare service providers, the project is working to apply the findings to the development of marketable, need-oriented, quality-controlled offerings. The platform under development is to serve as the interface as well as the communication and media center, bringing together significant aspects of the health, requirements, and needs of cardiovascular patients and their service providers.

The user platform incorporates three essential functions:

  • Self-monitoring of personal health parameters on the basis of a multi-sensor system,
  • Connecting element for persons with similar points of departure and interests in the community,
  • Platform for bringing together service providers and users in the marketplace.
